Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts Expand West Coast Presence with New Newport Beach Office
New Southern California office expands the brands’ factory-direct owner support network amid continued global growth
Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts today announced the opening of a new sales and service office in Newport Beach, California, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to supporting owners and prospective customers throughout key boating locations globally.
Against a backdrop of ongoing change across the premium motor yacht market, Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts continue to invest with discipline, expanding their global footprint and strengthening direct relationships with owners. Unlike many yacht manufacturers, the brands maintain factory-direct relationships with owners throughout every stage of ownership—from design and construction through commissioning, service, and long-term support.
The Newport Beach office establishes an additional regional presence for both brands and provides owners with more direct access to sales guidance, service coordination, and personalized support. Strategically located in one of the country’s premier yachting markets, the office will serve as a key hub for current and future owners from California to the Pacific Northwest.
For more than 100 years collectively, Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts have defined a distinct approach to yacht design and ownership—combining ocean-racing-proven innovation, timeless design, and industry-leading fuel efficiency. This expansion brings that philosophy closer to owners across North America through dedicated local teams with direct access to the factory.
“This is about being closer to our owners,” said Mark Richards, CEO and Chief Designer. “Whether someone is taking delivery of a new yacht, planning a service visit, or preparing for their next cruising adventure, we believe the best owner experience comes from direct access to the people who design, build, and support these yachts. Newport Beach strengthens that connection on the West Coast.”
The office will serve as a hub for the U.S. West Coast, providing sales, commissioning, and owner support for Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts. Leading sales and customer relations efforts is Sarah Antona, a veteran sales and operations professional who continues a multi-generational relationship with the Grand Banks brand. Supporting owners throughout the delivery and ownership experience is Robert Antona, USA Commissioning Manager for the GB Marine Group. A Volvo Penta Master Technician and highly accomplished marine diesel specialist, Rob brings extensive expertise in propulsion systems, marine electrical systems, electronics integration, commissioning, and onboard systems diagnostics, ensuring owners receive factory-level support throughout the West Coast region.
This expansion reflects continued global momentum for Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts and growing demand for performance-driven motor yachts that deliver efficiency, comfort, and a refined experience on the water. Few yacht manufacturers offer owners direct access to dedicated facilities, service expertise, and waterfront amenities in some of the world’s most sought-after boating destinations.
Grand Banks and Palm Beach Motor Yachts continue to invest in the infrastructure, expertise, and owner experience that support their owners—wherever they are in the world.
